Guidelines for Submitting Images- Bigger is Better, Vector is best!

The first and most important rule to remember is that we can ALWAYS shrink your image as much as we need to. We cannot, however, BLOW UP your image without losing resolution and image quality. That being said, you should usually try to give us the biggest picture you can. Don't worry about the file size. Any file extension will do. (.jpg, .gif, .tif, .psd, etc.)

For you artists out there, please send us your artwork in vector format if available. Please make sure all text is converted to outlines, and send file in .AI or .PDF format.

For All Items- Images should be at least 200dpi at the actual size they will be printed. The average full frontal t-shirt design is about 10" wide, so an image file for that type of design should be at least 2000 pixels wide. More than 300dpi won't look any better, and is just a waste of disk space. If we are printing an item from your digital camera picture, please send us the full size image. We will take care of re-sizing it appropriately.

For printing on Dark colored t-shirts: For raster images, your artwork absolutely MUST reside on a layer with a transparent background. (Unless you want to print the whole canvas.) A white background will print as white. Acceptable formats for files with transparency are .PSD, .PNG or .GIF only. Please see the example below.
